Job description

Data engineers play a key role in the design and construction of data platforms for our customers. They work with technical teams, businesses and data scientists to democratize data access in a secure and governed framework.

The mission is a long term assignment in the retail industry on the Databricks and Azure platforms.

Expected Skills

You must have experience in Spark, Python and Cloud architectures. We have several open positions for profiles of all levels. For the less experienced, a Microsoft Azure and Databricks certification and/or experience is a plus. Preferably 2 years of experience is desired.

In addition, we are attentive to all your complementary experiences including Hadoop, Infrastructure as Code, Data Science, Cloud Engineering, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, streaming with KafKa, NiFi, … Note, open positions are also available in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Prototype, build, deploy and operate data engineering pipelines
• Collaborate with other data engineers, business analysts and data scientists to solve challenging business problems
• Apply DevOps methodologies to code management, collaration, automation and application delivery
• Be a force of proposal and innovation to recommand our clients with appropriate technical decisions, security measures enforments and project management guidelines
• Take advantage of Databricks and Microsoft Azure platforms and tools in line with customer needs.
