Artificial neural networks (ANN)

Neural Network are a set of computer algorithms loosely modeled after nature and the human brain. They are designed to recognize patterns and to learn by incorporating new data. In their simplest form, an ANN is composed of three layers of neurons: the input layer (where the data enters the system), the hidden layer (where the information is processed) and the output layer (where the system decides what to do based on the data). In a deep neural network, multiple layers create a more complex system able to train itself to process and learn from data.
